Tadashi Shoji is an American-based Japanese designer who specializes in evening wear, and — as you might remember — was one of the only designers “willing” to dress plus size celebrities Octavia Spencer and Melissa McCarthy before it became a little trendier to do so! I discovered this Tadashi Shoji Plus Size Lace Sheath Dress at Nordstrom, where I completely fell in love with this short lace plus size cocktail dress. I put it on, and I swear there were rainbows and fireworks and birds singing. It comes in 7 colors, and I have it in the deep amethyst purple and this amazing muted teal color, called starry night.
